Watchet Festival 2016
WATCHET LIVE C.I.C, the organisers of WATCHET LIVE FESTIVAL have announced that specially discounted Early Bird tickets for their 2016 event – the West Somerset Festival’s 10th Birthday Party – are on sale now until the end of February.
During this special Early Bird Period, a family of two adults and two youths can enjoy three days of camping, a multitude of activities and some of the best live bands to be found anywhere in the country for just ÂŁ180. Adult weekend camping tickets are an exceptionally reasonable ÂŁ65, and under 12Â’s remain free.
With last yearÂ’s event selling out in record time (the festivalÂ’s fifth successive sell-out year), and legendary performers such as Sir Bob Geldof, The Selecter, Seth Lakeman and Big Country all taking to the stage, last years wellington boots are ones to fill. However, with preparations for next yearÂ’s anniversary event well underway, and some major acts preparing to sign on the dotted line, everything is in place for it to be the biggest and best Watchet Festival yet.
The fancy dress theme for 2016 will, of course, be ‘Birthday Party’!
Watchet LIVE Festival is a not-for-profit family-friendly festival with amazing views of the stunning West Somerset coastline and beyond. Three live stages host more than 60 live acts, bringing a wide range of high-calibre musical acts not normally found performing in West Somerset, at a very affordable price.
Following the success of last year’s sold out event (the festival’s fifth in a row), Watchet LIVE Festival has again made financial donations to local groups including The Children’s Hospice South West, Elliot’s Touch, and the “Stand Against Speed” young driver’s awareness campaign.
Alongside a wide variety of high quality food stalls, the extensive in-house Cider and Real Ale Bar prices are always kept as low as possible, providing one of the best-value refreshments offerings to be found at any event in the UK.
