Today, South Facing festival unveils its full line-up for what’s set to be its most epic edition yet this summer. Across eight dates through July and August 2023, South Facing will take over Crystal Palace Bowl for undoubtedly the capital’s biggest series of open-air concerts from the biggest names in music.

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will be heading to South London for a huge open-air headline gig at South Facing. Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds emerged in 2011, with their eponymous album that shot to #1 in the Albums Chart, double platinum, and has sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide. Widely known as the main songwriter, lead guitarist and occasional lead vocalist of Oasis, one of the biggest and most loved bands ever to emerge from the UK, Noel’s prolific songwriting continues to play a tremendous role in shaping and inspiring contemporary guitar music. Long-time friend and collaborator Johnny Marr and his band will also join Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds performing as special guests at Crystal Palace Bowl on Friday 28 July 2023This show is SOLD OUT.

Prolific Scottish rock duo Primal Scream join the mega line-up for London’s South Facing. Taking place on Friday 4 August, Primal Scream will be supported by Scottish duo, one of alt-rock’s most revered bands and Just Like Honey hitmakers – The Jesus and Mary Chain, along with Texan psych-rock legends The Black Angels, both sure to deliver blistering live performances. Primal Scream remain a force within Britain’s rich musical heritage, and their upcoming South Facing gig is sure to deliver an open-air summers day of alt-rock at its finest.

Get set for Rudimental LIVE, celebrating 10 years of their 2013 seminal album ‘Home’, the album which propelled them immediately to the top of the album charts and received a Mercury Music Prize nomination, Rudimental will be live at South Facing on Saturday 5 August especially to mark 10 years of the album which is packed full of banger-after-banger, delivering timeless hits including Feel The Love, Home and Not Giving In. It doesn’t stop there – they’ll be supported by superstar of dance and electro, here in her hometown of London, it’s Katy on a Mission hitmaker, hot on the heels of 2023 release of Paradise with Kings of the Rollers, Katy B, and more.

There’ll be an afternoon of fun for all the family on Sunday 6 August as Raver Tots comes to South Facing! This is the UK’s biggest family-friendly rave, where kids and grown ups can hit the dance floor and rave the day away together. Expect huge dance spaces, huge production and the best in house, garage and drum’n’bass brought to you by the nation’s biggest DJs.

Manchester legends James will be at South Facing Festival as the band celebrates four incredible decades together. They’re one of the UK’s most enduring success stories with 16 studio albums, and over 25 million copies sold in their recent run of top 5 albums. In November 2022, the band announced their ‘James Lasted’, which sold out in just one day, and the release of a double album, happening in 2023. Joining James on the line-up, Happy Mondays are known and loved as one of the most influential bands of the 80s and 90s. With timeless hits including Kinky Afro, and Twenty Four Hour Party People, the Happy Mondays have embarked on world tours garnering international acclaim, as well as continued massive success in the UK which remains as potent as ever to this day. Together, two giants of British music join forces on Friday 11 August here in Crystal Palace Bowl.

Swedish folk duo First Aid Kit, made up of sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg join South Facing on Saturday 12 August. Delicately threading together eloquent folk, breezy Americana, and pensive pop, and having amassed over 1 billion streams and counting, the two-time BRIT Award-nominated duo’s blend of artful songcraft and ambitious melodies continues to fixate audiences worldwide. Known and loved the for their beautiful vocal harmonies and rich indie-folk catalogue of tracks such as My Silver Lining and Emmy Lou, they’ll be at south Facing this summer following two sold-out Eventim Apollo shows last December. The band will see support from special guests: Irish singer-songwriter CMAT, folk band Flyte and former Maccabees, Felix and Hugo White – 86TVs

Chart-topping, multi-award-winning British singer Craig David will be at South Facing on Sunday 13 August. Bursting onto the scene when his debut single Fill Me In, and debut album ‘Born To Do It’, both soared to the top of the UK charts in 2000. Since, Craig David has remained at the fore of garage and R&B, with a BRIT Award, Grammy nominations, MOBO Awards, and Ivor Novello Awards under his belt. With a catalogue of crowd pleasers including What’s Your Flava, 7 Days and more, it’s set to be an unmissable performance at South Facing this summer, with support from one of the biggest breakout dance acts of recent years, and 21 Reasons hitmaker, Nathan Dawe.

South Facing Festival is the capital’s biggest series of open-air concerts from the biggest names in music, taking over the Crystal Palace Bowl – a venue rooted in South London and steeped in musical history. Since its debut in 2021, South Facing Festival marks a new era in outdoor entertainment with an unbeatable line-up with artists spanning the worlds of rap, indie, rock, pop, classical and more.
