With many more bands still to be announced, Tenement Trail organisers are trickling announcements much to the excitement of fans who have already snapped up special Early Bird tickets since going on sale last month.
Spanning across six of Glasgow’s most famous live music venues, TT15 acts will take to the stage of The Art School, King Tuts, O2 ABC2, Broadcast, Nice N Sleazy and Flat 0/1.
Tenement TV are also delighted to announce official partners for Tenement Trail as Tennent’s Lager who continue to support the Scottish music scene in their sponsorship of this year’s event.
CEO Founder of Tenement TV and Tenement Trail Festival DirectorChae Houston commented: “This year’s Tenement Trail is going to be really exciting for everyone involved from the bands, to the promoters, to the fans. It’s a great event for Glasgow and Scotland and we are delighted to confirm this next batch of acts who are causing a stir in the music scene at the moment. Neon Waltz played to a sold-out King Tuts crowd at last year’s Tenement Trail and to have them onboard for a second consecutive year is brilliant. We have lots more surprises up our sleeves too so keep your eyes peeled for future announcements ahead of the event in October!”
Bands such as Man of Moon are among some of the most exciting new bands on the scene. Hailing from Edinburgh, the Scottish duo have already impressed with a series of tracks appearing online showing a raw, edgy sound to help the band stand out from the rest. And bands including Holy Esque, with an already strong Scottish following, will bring their well-crafted live sets that are sure to pack out the venues on the gig crawl this October.
#TT15 sets out to fill the void. Anything but just another festival, TT is dedicated to underground and breakthrough talent, created by and for music lovers in Scotland. Previous festivals have seen acts such as Hector Bizerk reach capacity in Broadcast, capturing the spirit and hearts the UK’s most energetic and unique music scene.
TTV’s live sessions hosted online have now reached over 3 million views. The Scottish platform serves an international audience with its finger to the pulse of the music industry.
