MusicMafia presents 3-piece alt-pop band, Loux

After forming in just 2017, and playing Bluedot Festival as their second gig together, Loux have continued to gain traction following the release of their debut single, ‘Meet Me Halfway’, having played live sessions on both BBC radio Leeds and Sofar Sounds London.

2018 also promises to be an exciting year for Loux, with the release of their second single ‘Cool’, recently having played Live at Leeds and being booked for this years’ Long Division!

Produced by the bands own Chris Milnes, ‘Cool’ has it all, from striking synths and catchy hooks to hypnotic vocals, all Layered on a 70’s inspired bass line that will have you hitting repeat! Vocalist and Songwriter Jordan Hodson says “’Cool’ was written about my boundaries within a relationship and learning to express when I’m not okay. Not being someone who pretends they drink beer and stay a size 6, but are in the gym starving themselves”

Growing up in the era of ‘Girl Power’ and drawing influences from iconic female fronted 90’s bands gives the song an athematic edge and creates a strong message of empowerment that is easily relatable and will inspire genders across the spectrum.

3-piece alt-pop band, Loux, who have just released their new track, ‘Cool’, and would love for you to check it out!
