Edinburgh Summer Sessions reveal the newest addition to 2021’s festival line-up as pop sensation Anne-Marie, set to headline on Thursday 12th August 2021 in Princes Street Gardens.

Tickets will go on pre-sale Thursday 1st April at 9am via WWW.SMMRSESSIONS.COM, with general sale Friday 2nd April 9am.

The chart topping singer-songwriter joins an iconic line-up including Tom Jones, Michael Kiwanuka, Simple Minds, Travis and DMA’s this summer as the city festival makes a welcomed return to the picturesque backdrop of Princes Street Gardens. One of the UK’s biggest stars, Anne-Marie has gone from strength to strength, with her debut album reaching Top 3 in the UK, touring with Rudimental plus hit singles ‘2002’ and ‘FRIENDS’  and most recently, appearing as a coach on The Voice UK. Having sold out Edinburgh’s Usher Hall in 2019 and with four UK Top 10 singles and 4.5 billion global streams to her name, Anne-Marie’s return to Scotland’s capital will be unmissable as she takes the stage by storm this August.

Some of the most exciting emerging talent in the UK right now will join Anne-Marie with HRVY, Gracey and Call Me Loop also added to the bill.
Call Me Loop, aka Georgia, quickly rose to fame as her first ever release ‘Looking at You’ received over 100,000 streams on Spotify in the first 24 hours of release. Fans can catch Call Me Loop making her debut Summer Sessions appearance as she opens the show on Thursday 12th August with her made-for-summer melody hits. Also joining Anne-Marie on the bill, singer-songwriter Gracey has written for the likes of global stars Kylie Minogue, Olly Murs and Rita Ora, and featured on 220 Kid’s hit song ‘Don’t Need Love’ in 2019. The Princes Street Gardens party will continue with YouTuber and singer, HRVY. Having worked with artists like Becky Hill and Noah Cyrus, HRVY is said to release new music later this year, perfect timing for his debut at Edinburgh Summer Sessions.

Following over a year without live music in Scotland, Edinburgh Summer Sessions will provide music fans with the opportunity to soak up the festival atmosphere in one of the most intimate outdoor festival settings in the world. Anne-Marie joins a plethora of talent this summer, including legendary headliner Tom Jones, as well as Mercury Prize winner and Grammy nominee Michael Kiwanuka, hometown heroes Travis and Simple Minds, plus Australian Britpop inspired band DMA’s.
