Liverpool-based hardcore nu-metal hybrids DEATH BLOOMS have announced a one-off hometown show this October.

Following the release of their debut album ‘Life Is Pain’ last year, the group are set to play their biggest headline show to date at Liverpool’s Arts Club Theatre on Friday 28th October 2022.

Having amassed over 91,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and with over 1.8 million streams on album title track “Life Is Pain”, Death Blooms is the brainchild of Liverpool enigma Paul Barrow. Mixing classic nu metal feel and touch with elements of modern metal, the band makes music for those who love the pit.

For fans of Malevolence, Beartooth, Spiritibox, Loathe and While She Sleeps, Death Blooms have collaborated with the likes of Strange Bones and Wargasm and have been dubbed as “another reason to get excited about heavy music” by Kerrang!.

With support from Jack Saunders and BBC Radio 1 on their string of singles, the band were nominated for Best UK Breakthrough Band at 2021’s Heavy Music Awards and have gained praise from Rock Sound, Punktastic and Metal Hammer, with the latter saying Death Blooms “get the pits started, the heart pumping and middle fingers flying.”

Stirring up this riotous live energy on their own recent headline run — with multiple sold out shows, mosh pits aplenty and one fan having their Airbnb reservation cancelled thanks to the band’s aggressive, expletive-riddled and disturbingmusic — the band have also supported the likes of Blood Youth, Trash Boat, Skindred and Korn’s Jonathan Davis.

Now fresh off the back of their anarchic Download Festival slot, Death Blooms are set to bring their rambunctious live show to their biggest audience yet, and in a city they know and love.
