Two Door Cinema Club announce an extensive UK headline tour, kicking off at O2 Academy Birmingham on January 24th 2017 and concluding at Alexandra Palace, London on February 10th. Tickets go on general sale on Friday 30th September at 9am.
Re-energised by their self-imposed hiatus, the Irish trio made their live return this summer with a huge set on the main stage at Glastonbury, followed by headline slots on theNME / Radio 1 Stage at Reading & Leeds and Belladrum Festival, Inverness. Returning to legions of devoted followers singing back their treasured hits in their thousands, the band’s brief return to the live circuit served as a promising taster of what is set to be another huge year for Two Door Cinema Club in 2017.

The headline tour will follow the release of the band’s third studio album ‘Gameshow’, released via Parlophone on October 14th. Recorded in Toganga Canyon, California with renowned producer Jacknife Lee (REM, U2, Bloc Party), ‘Gameshow’ sees the band challenge themselves to indulge in a wide and varied range of styles and influences, stretching way beyond the traditional Two Door sound to take in the likes of Prince, Chic, Krautrock, Neo Soul and modernist pop. Preceded by singles ‘Are We Ready? (Wreck)’ and ‘Bad Decisions’, the new album exhibits the sound of a band back in their stride, with a creative fire in their loins and a whole new centred sense of purpose.
