Liverpool Music Week are pleased to announce details of the notorious LMW16 Closing Party which is set to take place on 4th November at various venues across the newly revitalised North Liverpool Docklands and will feature a huge line up of some of the best in local and national talent.
The organisers said in an official statement; “We are so excited to be announcing this year’s Closing Party on Friday Nov 4th. It’s always a wild way to end every LMW festival – if you’ve attended one before you’ll know just what we’re talking about! We’re also absolutely thrilled that Clinic will headline this year’s grand finale with their first ever live show at Liverpool Music Week, topping the bill of an all-star local affair that this year is to be hosted across a labyrinth of stages in Liverpool’s blossoming North Docks area, and centred around Kazimier Productions’ new venue, The Invisible Wind Factory. Not to be missed!”
Held across numerous North Liverpool Dockland creative spaces including Invisible Wind Factory, Northshore Troubadour, Muraki and more, the closing party will be a celebration of the local music scene and DIY heart of the city.
Comprised of stages curated by the likes of local tastemakers Getintothis andBido Lito! plus promoters Milk Presents, Domino Recordings’ experimental art-rock heroes CLINIC will headline proceedings and there will also be a special ‘50 Shades Of Pink – Barberos Spandex Party’ which will see local progressive electronic / noise trio BARBEROS play a full album show featuring collaborations with ALL WE ARE, STEALING SHEEP and more.
