We’re halfway through the year already but the best is yet to come as The Epstein Theatre is delighted to announce a whole host of new musical performances coming to Liverpool!
With tributes to Pink Floyd, T.Rex, Elvis, Abba, Genesis and Fleetwood Mac alongside music from award winning singer Hazel O’Connor, Thomas Lang, Joe Longthorne and Gary Murphy’s Guitar Legends there truly is something for everyone.
Kicking things off this month is Genesis Connected who, after a successful 2016 visit, return to The Epstein Theatre for what is sure to be another full house on Sunday 18th June.
The show has an incredible mix of material, from atmospheric anthems to chart toppers that will get the crowd dancing in the aisles! Hits spanning from the late 70s onwards including Turn It On Again, Sledgehammer, In The Air Tonight, Over My Shoulder, Against All Odds, That’s All, Solsbury Hill, You Can’t Hurry Love, The Living Years and many more.
The front man, Pete Bultitude, is not only an incredibly versatile vocalist, he is also a truly gifted drummer just like Phil Collins, so expect the show to include the iconic ‘double drums’ element as featured on every Genesis and Phil Collins tour.
Toxteth born and Liverpool based singer songwriter Thomas Lang will receive a hometown reception on Thursday 22nd June with the 30th anniversary of critically acclaimed Scallywag Jaz.
Best known for the jazz-tinted song The Happy Man, which spent three weeks in the UK top 100 singles chart in 1988, Thomas Lang continues to play live with his band. He released a live album Torch in 2014 which was recorded at Liverpool Philharmonic and is a tribute to some of his heros Billie, Ella, Franket al.
This year sees the re release of Scallywag Jaz with bonus live tracks from last year’s sell out tour, some unreleased material and new tracks showing that his voice has stood the 30 year test of time. See it for yourself this June!

The show highlights many different guitar styles including rock, pop, jazz and country and has something for all ages. Guitar Legends is a show you will not want to miss.
