Faithless @ Ibiza Rocks 2016 – Review
Faithless playing Ibiza Rocks was one of the most eagerly anticipated shows of this summer and, trust us, they didn’t let us down.
The crowd were buzzing pretty nicely after DJ Doorly had warmed them up, but when Faithless appeared the nice calm audience went absolutely ballistic!!
Svelt frontman, Maxi Jazz, took to the stage after a frenetic warm up of guitars, drums and synths and was clearly enjoying himself as much as the audience, frequently thanking everyone for being there.
“God is a DJ” had everyone with their hands in the air early into the show and the tempo didn’t let up throughout the whole set with other classics such as “Mass Destruction” and everybody’s favourite “Insomnia” which inevitably had the entire venue declaring “I can’t get no sleep” whilst dancing and jumping away with reckless abandonment.
The energetic and relentless performance from the band combined with the laser visuals created one of the best atmospheres we’ve experienced at Ibiza Rocks in all the times we have been there and ending their set off with “We Come 1” was a goosebump inducing moment and the most glorious and fitting of finales.
