Dublin based Garage-rockers Otherkin announce their debut album, OK. Set for release on the 29th September, the LP perfectly condenses the band’s blistering; pop punk sound into twelve razor sharp tracks.
2017 has already been a whirlwind for the band, having completed their own headline UK tour, as well as a series of support slots with The Amazons. The band has opened for Guns ‘N’ Roses, where they brought their incendiary live show to front man Luke’s home turf at the legendary Slane Castle. They made their Download debut at Castle Donington recently and were also recently championed by Metallica’s Lars Ulrich on his Beats1 radio show. Completing a full UK tour with punk-rock legends The Dead Kennedy’s.
To support the release of the album, Otherkin will be taking their visceral live show out on a mammoth set of tour dates as both special guests of INHEAVEN in the UK and headlining their own gigs in fifteen European countries.
OK was recorded in Ireland with David Prendergast, Jason Boland and the band at the controls, while the tracks were mixed in London by Jolyon Thomas, best known for his work with Slaves and Royal Blood. Showing real commitment to their art, singer Luke and drummer Rob both had fresh OK tattoos committed to flesh for the album artwork. There’s no going back now.
