This year’s Greenwich Music Time is now only two weeks away. The five-day concert series, which will see performances from Sir Tom Jones, ten-time Grammy Award-winning George Benson, the multi-million-selling Flamenco superstars Gipsy Kings, and legendary Kinks frontman Ray Davies, returns to the Maritime Greenwich World Heritage site of The Old Royal Naval College from Thursday 23rd – Monday 27thJuly.
The organisers have confirmed an array of high profile support acts for each night including cult blues rock outfit Nine Below Zero, former Stranglers vocalist and guitarist Hugh Cornwell, award-winning singer and actress Hazel O’Connor, inimitable East African vocalist Somi, and one of the buzz bands of the last 18 months, UK country duo The Shires.
