This Blues and Rock album, fully written and composed by Lena Morris, gathers 5 songs depicting feelings relating a young woman’s thoughts in 2021. With this album Lena Morris sheds light on the sufferings of the soul. Morris strongly believes that everyone can get better, and no one should be left behind giving up on life.
New Blood walks us through loneliness, anxiety, tragedy, as well as confidence, joy, healing and hope.
The Artist
Lena Morris is a French (of Armenian/Russian descent) Blues-Rock singer-songwriter and bass player, born in Brussels, raised in Hong Kong and based in Brighton (UK).
She mixes Blues, Rock, Soul and Jazz. Her authentic music and gravelly voice are well suited to her lyrics with social and political views. Massively influenced by The Beatles, Queen and David Bowie, Lena Morris adds a special ingredient to her blues in the English scene: a hint of French accent.
