Earlier this year, the band self-released their sophomore effort ‘Dreamface‘, via Edward’s own label Elevant Music Limited (EML) . All 11 tracks were mixed and recorded at the now defunct, Western Recording Company on Seel St. in their home-town Liverpool with Kyle Western in just six days with Pete Maher (Jack White, U2, Goldfrapp) providing the magic touch on the final production duties. The result is an album that blends the furious tenacity of their live shows with an ever-more ambitious sound and a sonic palette daubed with psychedelia, grunge, Krautrock and everything in-between.Â
Elevant is the brainchild of songwriter, guitarist, vocalist and boss of Elevant’s own label, Michael Edward. Recruiting multi-instrumentalists Hannah Lodge and Tom Shand, the trio hit the road with their self-titled dĂ©but album in tow for the first time in Autumn 2014. In under a year, the band have completed two national tours, delivered two full-length albums in ‘Elevant’ and ‘Dreamface’ and are now hungry to make it a hat-rick.
Don’t miss the band live this summer – full tour dates listed below…
Elevant are:Â Michael Edward – Guitar/Vocals; Hannah Lodge – Bass; Tom Shand – Drums/Backing Vocals
