The Jackobins have relaeased their new single, ‘Waiting on the Sun’.
With a catchy start, the song quickly builds up into a more robust sound and when Dominic Bassnett’s wonderful vocals kick in it gains even more texture to complete a very well produced single albeit it far too short for my liking (another 2 minutes of this great tune would have done me fine)
Waiting on the Sun features, as is to be expected, great vocals and great musical accompaniment and it goes to show how far The Jackobins have come in a very short space of time. The track is smooth and slick and thoroughly enjoyable and as I have continuously commented on, Dominic Bassnett’s vocals are glorious and full once again.
The single has got support from The View, Hurts, Twisted Wheel, members of Jake Bugg’s band and This Feeling so for as well as Dexters, Repeat Offenders and plenty more and there is no surprise in that.
With a 30+ date tour coming up with several good profile festivals and more dates to be added and have/are about to support the likes of The Enemy, Space, Reverend and The Makers, The Rifles, Frankie and The Heartstrings amongst others, The Jackobins are making a mark on the scene and building followers wherever they go.
