Y Not Festival 2017 announces its 2nd Wave of artists

 

Happy Mondays, Frank Turner, Deaf Havana, Lethal Bizzle, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes and many more join the bill

 

Celebrating its twelfth year, Derbyshire’s finest festival Y Not (27-30 July) has today announced the second wave of artists to join an already impressive bill.

Legendary rave rockers and Madchester’s finest, Happy Mondays, will be bringing their iconic brand of acid-soaked indie dance to Derbyshire this summer. Celebrating the 27th anniversary of their platinum-selling landmark album ‘Pills ‘n’ Thrills and Bellyaches’, the Monday’s are guaranteed to deliver a massive party vibe – it’ll be a true Y Not highlight!

Other confirmed acts include folk-punk troubadour Frank Turner (solo), alt-rockers Deaf Havana, MOBO-winning grime sensation Lethal Bizzle, hardcore merchants Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Australian three-piece Spring King, Declan McKenna, Honeyblood, and Young Guns.

Elsewhere on the incredible bill is The Big Moon, Clean Cut Piece, Superfood, Black Honey, Will Varley, Blaenavon, Kagoule, Vukovi, Black Foxxes, Splashh, God Damn, Menace Beach, Dan Caplen, Twin Wild, Strange Bones, Dan Caplen, Twin Wild, Strange Bones, Bad Sounds, Haus, King No-One, OUTLYA and Catherine McGrath 

Y Not also welcomes a host of additions to its stellar DJ line-up including actor, musician, and DJ Idris Elba, the legendary Norman Jay MBE and the cut and paste stylings of Jaguar Skills.

Bringing the spectacular Peak District countryside to life from 27-30 July, Y Not is a beautiful gathering of like-minded people who love great music and know how to party. Complete with stunning panoramic views, a fully stocked bar of local ales and ciders, a mouth-watering selection of food and more live music than you could ever possibly take in, Y Not is a firm favourite in the festival calendar for those in the know.
