WILL VARLEY continues his silver-tongued serenading with the opening cut from his much-lauded third album Postcards From Ursa Minor.
‘As For My Soul’ sets out Will’s insight into modern malaise, and his solutions to getting by – “drink a beer, sing a song”. A slight shanty edge sifts this jauntier song across the centre of his musical spectrum, like a hungover morning with the promise of a brighter afternoon.

Will has a huge summer coming up, beginning with an extensive return support slot with Scottish legends The Proclaimers from now, throughout June and into July. Sprinkled in there are three shows with his childhood hero Billy Bragg. He then begins a run of festival dates including Blissfields, Splendour, Cambridge Folk Festival, Kendall Calling, Boomtown, his annual Smugglers Festival, and a triumphant return to Bestival after last year’s successful set. Autumn sees him on yet another headline UK tour this year, ending with a highly-anticipated gig at North London’s beautiful Union Chapel.
