Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel has revealed the date of its highly anticipated closing party which will take place on 3 October 2015. The event will mark the end of the pioneering property’s fifth season which has welcomed some of the world’s most high profile DJs to its iconic stage.
Featuring some of the most coveted DJs from the underground electronic music scene, the closing event promises a one-of-a-kind line up for EDM music lovers.
Andrea Oliva, whose debut album 4313 (Objektivity) was released in June this year, is at the height of his career. As well as his Saturday residency at ANTS (Ushuaïa) this season, the Swiss producer has also featured with Carl Cox at Revolution, Creamfields at Ushuaïa, Electrisize in Germany, Barrakud in Croatia, Beach House Ibiza’s Diynamic, and We Are Fstvl 2016 to name just a few.
The closing, which will undoubtedly be one of the biggest nights of the year, will only be complete with the participation of some of the team from ‘La Familia’; the people behind one of Ibiza’s most in-demand daytime parties. Creators Joris Voorn and Nic Fanciulli, who brought daytime event ‘La Familia’ back to Ushuaïa for its second year this season transforming Wednesdays at Ushuaïa with their house and underground techo beats, will offer a unique back-to-back set at the closing event creating harmonious vibes as well as performing tracks such as “Together” launched in 2011 by Voorn’s label, Rejected.
Within the Spanish clubbing scene, DJ and producer duo Los Suruba, who also formed part of the weekly ANTS colony, will be a major feature of the closing event having attracted thousands of fans this season and earning a nomination in the Breakthrough category at the esteemed DJAwards – Electronic Music Awards.
The line-up also features explosive female London duo Eli & Fur who have been stirring things up this season with their electronic melodies and distinguished sets which have featured in multiple Ibiza venues, attracting a huge international following. With delicate deep house beats, soft accelerations but prodigious power, Eli & Fur will bring something unique as DJs and producers to the fifth season’s finale.
The closing event will offer party-goers some of the best back-to-back sets available; offering one of the best ways to enjoy two artists at the same time, admire their musical compatibility and ability to get the crowds going. The exhilarating line-up features pairing UNER & Agoria; two of the world’s most in-demand producers and DJs who will come together for an unprecedented one-of-a-kind set.
Two world class female producers who are capable of transforming any event into a musical victory come together; Maya Jane Coles and Nina Kraviz. Maya Jane Coles is considered the queen of sophisticated deep underground house, a rare talent and creator of electronic music anthem ‘Everything’, while Nina Kraviz is perhaps the best example to illustrate the elegance of raw techno. Her record label трип (pronounced ‘trip’) is renowned for seducing ears in a way that very few artists can.
Completing the line-up is French trio Apollonia, formed by Dyed Soundorom, Dan Ghenacia and Shonky, who will put the finishing touches on a colossal closing party with a six-hand set, delighting the crowds with a spectacular b2b2b2b.
Nine performances will see off Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel’s fifth season in the way that it began: a musical spectacle promising an unforgettable day and leaving guests with a single aim to return to the hotel next season.
