The Wonder Stuff
The Wonder Stuff 30 years UK tour

March 2016 sees The Wonder Stuff celebrate its 30th anniversary.  Yes, 30 years since the band’s very first rehearsal in the heart of The Black Country. Since then they have sold millions of albums worldwide and continue to record and tour internationally to this day. During the last 29 years The Wonder Stuff have remained at the top of their game and play with a passion and an attitude that has set them apart from the majority of their contemporaries.

To celebrate their longevity the band will be embarking on a UK tour to play some very special shows.

Front man Miles Hunt explains: “I guess it’s quite a remarkable feat, we wrote a bunch of songs, some of them almost 30 years ago, and people still wanna hear them. You can’t reasonably ask for more can you..?”

Joining The Wonder Stuff on the tour, as very special guests, will be The Wedding Present, of this Hunt says: “The shared history of our two bands goes way back, ever since hearing their single ‘Once More’ back in 1985 I’ve been a keen fan of theirs, I honestly couldn’t be happier to have them joining us on this tour.”

In addition to The Wedding Present, Hunt has invited relative newcomers, The Lottery Winners, to open the shows: “We first came across The Lottery Winners at a festival we did together back in 2013. They have an absurd talent when it comes to knocking out a guitar led pop tune and their infectious sense of humour will be a welcome inclusion to the tour.”

The Wonder Stuff have had an amazing journey so far; seven albums, with another one in the offing, exciting spin-off projects and collaborations and now Miles has become an author penning the first of a collection of books “The Wonder Stuff Diaries 86 – 89”.
