The Music Manual celebrates its 3rd birthday at Leaf Tea Shop and Bar Liverpool
The Music Manual is celebrating its third birthday! The event at Leaf Tea Shop and Bar seeks to thank the very people that helped make The Manual dream a reality. Set to be a historic night in Liverpool music history, the birthday welcomes local quartet, Food (@foodfoodband) and Manchester psych legends, Purple Heart Parade (@PurpleHrtParade) along with many special guests who are being kept under lock and key.
Liverpool based music blog, The Music Manual, started out life from a phone, without any access to a PC. Since then, the website has undergone many miraculous changes, welcoming along a sister zine ‘Burn The Manual’ and reinventing its vintage feel with vibrant colours yet keeping a classic, timeless design. Lest we forget the nomination and eventual finalist of the blog at the UK Blog Awards 2014, ranked in the Top 10 blogs for Arts and Culture in the UK.
Creator, Lauren Jones began the project as a hobby, now, it’s a career. The third birthday just shows how resilience stands the test of time, Jones says “I want our story to be one that inspires others to take what they love and work at it, nothing can beat the satisfaction of working on something you truly enjoy.” “There are so many great, amazing artists who go unnoticed out there, my job is to find them and give them the best push into the industry as I can.”
31st July @ Leaf Tea Shop and Bar, Liverpool.
