Dave Wakeling returns for a UK autumn tour with The English Beat. Following an incredible run of shows in 2014, the band are set to play live gigs at O2 Academy venues, including Liverpool, Newcastle, Islington and their hometown of Birmingham.

The band’s fourth studio album, ‘Here We Go Love’, which they recorded at the esteemed NRG studios in North Hollywood, California, is due for release early 2016.

Fans can expect to hear Dave’s trademark sharp lyrics and smooth croon, whilst performing an assortment of their previous UK Top 10 singles, ‘Mirror in the Bathroom’, ‘Hands Off She’s Mine’ and ‘Can’t Get Used To Losing You’, as well as new songs that Dave says he “can’t wait to play in the UK”.

Hailing from working class Birmingham, Dave and The English Beat formed in 1978 and  over the course of three albums, became one of the most popular and influential bands of the British Two Tone Ska movement and achieved much success. Now The English Beat and Dave Wakeling enter the next phase with ‘Here We Go Love’, delighting old fans with this latest release and ready to affect a brand new audience with their sound.
