Shambhala Music Festival has officially sold out

Shambhala Music Festival

Canada’s longest running electronic music festival, Shambhala Music Festival, announced this week that the festival has officially sold out!

Shambhala began in 1998 as a grassroots gathering of 500 people on founder, Jimmy Bundschuh’s family farm, and has grown primarily by word-of-mouth thanks to its past patrons and artists. Now in its 18th year of production, the Shambhala Music festival will welcome 11,000 local and international participants to the Salmo River Ranch located within the emerald forests of the Selkirk Mountains this August 7th-10th to take in over 300 performances by artists such as Kygo, Pretty Lights, Skrillex, Big Gigantic, Bonobo, Camo & Krooked, Claude VonStroke, Crnkn, Datsik, DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Harvey, Dusky, Koan Sound, Kry Wolf, Lucent Dossier Experience, Griz, Mix Master Mike, MK, Mr. Carmack, Tipper (2 sets), Thomas Jack, and Zomboy.

The 2015 schedule was recently released for their six unique stages: The Village, Fractal Forest, The Living Room, Amphitheatre, The Grove, and Pagoda.  Contrasting in music styles, sound systems, and ambiance, each stage presents a diverse mix of musical talent throughout the weekend.  Hear more of what to expect at the festival through the highly anticipated annual Shambhala Mix Series featuring a compilation of exclusive mixes from this year’s lineup of world-class festival talent. Eight mixes have been added to date, with more to come.

Much gratitude and love to everyone who will be making the trek out to Shambhala next month!
