Zen Project formed roughly two years ago in Widnes, Cheshire (nr Liverpool) and though various changes have now become the band it is today. Zen Project’s line up currently is:
David Pye – Guitar/Lead Vocals
Andrew Frater – Bass
Stuart Dunn – Drums
Craig Davies – Lead Guitar
Mal Keenan – Keyboard/vocals
With influences ranging from classic rock, modern rock, indie and alternative, Zen Project have honed their own sound and write all of their own songs courtesy of David Pye. Some have likened their sound to be alike Manic Street Preachers, but they are not to be pigeon-holed and endeavor to create their own sound.
They are currently gigging throughout the North West, mainly Liverpool, and with the release of their latest single, they hope to spread the word around about Zen Project further afield.
