Moon Hooch announce UK tour including Liverpool Arts Club

Moon Hooch

Moon Hooch create what they like to call Cave Music. It’s like house, but it’s more wild, more jagged, more free, more natural to live in.

From busking on the New York Subway to supporting They Might Be Giants, Moon Hooch’s thunderous tech-jazz log-jammed the streets with their ‘hit-and-run skronking antics’(Louder then War) before ramming their first London club gig last year. The word is out on this two-saxophone and drums trio — a loud and feisty take on minimalist techno, house and dubstep that guarantees dancefloor action.

Moon Hooch are bringing their high-octane blend of drums, horns and party to the UK this September— it’s going to be a lot of fun.

They’ll be performing material from new album Red Sky including newly-released Psychotubes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mUGFjyhEuGg

Support for the London date comes from Perhaps Contraption, a progressive brass band – they march, they dance, they play loud, they create an exuberant musical experience that sounds like Frank Zappa meeting Sufjan Stevens in a fairground.
