MiC Lowry announce 2017 UK tour
Following the release of their new single ‘Oh Lord’, one of the most exciting new British bands MiC LOWRY have announced four headline UK shows for February 2017. The guys will perform across some of the UK’s major cities, kicking things of at Glasgow ABC2 on 16th February, then will head to Liverpool O2 Academy on 18th February, Birmingham O2 Institute on 19th February and will close at London’s KOKO on 20th February. The young men from Liverpool have defined their own lane and continue to seduce an incredibly loyal fan base with explosive content viewed over 50 million times across all platforms.
Having just finished their own sold-out headline tour in September, MiC LOWRY are currently on the road with Justin Bieber joining him on his European tour where they will perform 37 dates in 22 cities including UK arena shows in Manchester, Birmingham, Sheffield, Glasgow and 6 sell out nights in London’s O2 Arena.
Their new single, ‘Oh Lord’ which was released just a few weeks ago blends their five part harmonies and signature vocal arrangements, it may also sound familiar to some with a distinct sample of the legendary Phil Collins’ classic ‘In The Air Tonight’. The track has already been streamed by over 2 million people on Spotify in just over 2 week and has been playlisted across some of the most influential Spotfiy & Digster playlists as well as breaking into the worldwide viral charts at #7. Tastemakers and industry across both sides of the Atlantic are now picking up on the heat with BEAT, RWD and Digital Spy adding to the critical acclaim they’re gathering online after their debut EP went straight in at No.1 on the UK iTunes Official RnB Chart. With major support by BBC Radio 1 Xtra labelling them ‘the next big thing to come out of the UK’ and a BET nomination for ‘Best International Newcomer’, the future is bright for these five lads from Liverpool.
