Jareth releases New single called 'Kaleidoscope'

London-based Jareth has unveiled her new single ‘Kaleidoscope’, the first cut to be lifted from her debut solo EP. Having lent her commanding vocals to collaborations with Rene LaVice, Bashy, Lioness and Ghetts, Jareth rapidly garnered support from BBC 1Xtra, BBC Radio 1 and KISS. ‘Kaleidoscope’ guides the listener through a stirring and colourful journey of self-awareness, showcasing Jareth’s talent as a master of her craft. Championed by will.i.am and having penned tracks for the likes of Cheryl and Chris Lake, the singer-songwriter is due to release her EP, ‘Moonchild’, later this year through new label Moonshot Music.

The opening moments of ‘Kaleidoscope’ are as stripped back as they come, with just a percussive heartbeat as Jareth’s ethereal vocal dances atop a downward spiralling piano loop. Surrounded by producer Charlie J Perry’s (Jorja Smith, Maverick Sabre, Samm Henshaw) dreamlike atmosphere, her words cut deep as she sings of ‘diving into the depths of one’s subconsciousness’ to confront your fears and learn to hypnotise yourself back to health. Music is a form of therapy for Jareth, and by channeling all of her negative thoughts into creativity she’s discovered a newfound clarity. Resulting in lyrical poetry that is undeniably relatable, there’s an infinite source of inspiration just waiting to surface.
