Saturday 18 November – Birmingham, O2 Institute
Sunday 19 November – London, O2 Forum Kentish Town

Detroit’s controversial multi-million-selling hip hop duo, Insane Clown Posse is set to return to the UK for the first time since 2003 for a five-date UK tour in November, including a headline show in London at O2 Forum Kentish Town. Opening for Insane Clown Posse on all dates will be Ohio’s Mushroomhead.

Over the course of almost three decades, several Gold and Platinum albums, Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dopehave shared their Dark Carnival mythology with the world, through their lyrics, some philosophic to the humorous and their outrageous live shows (their most infamous concert tradition of dousing the crowd with hundreds of gallons of Faygo soda).

When Insane Clown Posse emerged from the darkness surrounding Detroit’s underground music scene in the early 1990s, no-one imagined the impact that the face-painted duo’s hardcore, hip hop style would bear on mainstream music.

The duo’s millions of fans – known as ‘Juggalos‘ – have become one of the most studied and talked-about musical subcultures of all time and many of their albums, including the platinum-selling The Great Milenko and The Amazing Jeckel Brothers becoming true classics of the horrorcore rap genre. Insane Clown Posse‘s annual Gathering of the Juggalos draws thousands of fans to Illanois each year and has grown to become one of the most eclectic and celebrated summer music festivals, described by the New York Times as one of the only “authentic” music-based events in America.

Their latest and thirteenth studio album, 2015’s two-part The Marvelous Missing Link opened at Number 2 on the Billboard Top 10 Rap Chart to huge critical acclaim. In the same year, ICP celebrated the 20th anniversary of their classic album Riddle Box with a special reissue edition featuring bonus tracks and a hugely successful tour of the United States and Canada.

With their own record company, best-selling albums, compilations, music videos, professional wrestlingpromotion (Juggalo Championship Wrestling), films, events, television shows (“Insane Clown Posse Theater”) merchandise (Hatchet Gear), not to mention an unprecedented level of controversy, to a much publicised battle with the FBI, Insane Clown Posse is a juggernaut that shows no sign of stopping. Don’t miss their monumental return to the UK for the first time in more than a decade.
