British duo, Hurts (aka Theo Hutchcraft and Adam Anderson) return to the musical spotlight this summer with the release of their stunning new single ‘Some Kind Of Heaven’, impacting on 31st July via Columbia Records.

‘Some Kind Of Heaven’ is the first taste of new music to be taken from their forthcoming third studio album, scheduled for release later this year.  Hurts teamed up with long term collaborator, Jonas Quant to produce the new single, crafting a glorious slice of pop, layered with sublime vocals and an intensely catchy hook.

Hurts’ return after two years following the release of their top 10 sophomore album, “Exile” and No. 1 single with Calvin Harris and Alesso.  Since the band entered the UK album charts in 2010 they’ve sold over 1.2 million albums and 3 million singles worldwide. Hurts are certified Gold in the UK and Austria, 2 x Platinum in Germany and Finland, and Platinum in Poland, Switzerland and Russia, as well as selling over 250,000 tickets across their sold out tours.

Alongside their continued work with Jonas Quant, Hurts have also joined forces with esteemed, Grammy Award winning producers Stuart Price (Madonna, The Killers, Take That) and Ariel Rechtshaid (Haim, Vampire Weekend) to sculpt the sound of their much anticipated third album.

Further album details and information to be revealed over the coming weeks.
