Horse Party formed in September 2012 when singing guitarists Ellie Langley and Seymour Quigley met drummer Shannon Hope at Seymour’s ‘Washing Machine’ clubnights in their hometown of Bury St Edmunds. Following a string of self-released singles and EPs during 2013, the band’s 2014 debut album ‘Cover Your Eyes’ (on Integrity Records, the original home of Frank Turner) received critical acclaim and airplay from XFM, Amazing Radio and 6music, while an always-busy touring schedule has seen the band supporting the likes of Slaves, Levellers, Basement Jaxx, The Nightingales, Shonen Knife, Ghostpoet, Dingus Khan and We Are The Physics, and bleeding onstage at Latitude, The Unorthodox Paradox, Norwich Sound & Vision and Beat-Herder festivals.
