More than 50 new acts revealed including Naughty Boy, Julio Bashmore, Redlight, Waze & Odyssey, Huxley, Anne-Marie, General Levy, Zinc, Bodhi, Icarus, and many more

 

Glass Butter Beach – the renowned wake, surf, music and beach lifestyle festival – has today announced the second wave of artists to join an already impressive line-up including Naughty Boy (DJ set), Julio Bashmore, Redlight, Waze & Odyssey, Huxley, Anne-Marie, General Levy, and many, many more.

 

The new acts join headliners Wolf Alice, Kodaline, Katy B, Mystery Jets, Jamie Lawson, Andy C & Patrick Topping at the fourth Glass Butter Beach festival taking place 19–21 August 2016 in the picturesque surf town of Abersoch. North Wales.

 

Fresh from a string of critically acclaimed collaborations and his number 1 hit ‘La La La’ is DJ, songwriter and record producer Naughty Boy who will join Katy B in co-headlining the main stage. His upbeat blend of UK garage, R&B and breakbeat is guaranteed to be a highlight of the festival.

 

Other live acts announced today include Rudimental associate Anne-Marie, Manchester Indie sensations The Reveurs and Ruby Sky.

 

Glass Butter Beach also welcomes a host of additions to its stellar DJ line-up including house DJ and producer Julio Bashmore, genre-bending re-mixer Redlight, deep house duo Waze & Odyssey, underground house hero Huxley, Bodhi,drum & bass jazz fusionist Icarus, electro-house DJ and producer Zinc and many more.

 

 

 

Joining the bill at the Surf Shack are rising indie four-piece Youth Club, acoustic singer-songwriter Matt Wills, Australian indie-rockers Modern Strangers, Rory Butler, Sody, The Jackobins, Barron and many more.

 

The Hidden Roots stage is proud to announce raga royalty, the inimitable General Levy, who never fails to get a party started, dubwise Bristolian Gardna, Big.Bad.Soundsystem, V.E.N.O.M and Sinewave joining the previously announced Airies, Dark Angel & Count Skylarkin.

 

Evolving out of an underground wakeboard event on Abersoch Beach, Glass Butter Beach has rapidly become the world’s largest wakeboard music festivals fusing an exhilarating mix of live acts and DJs with world class wakeboarding & surfing and an alluring beach lifestyle.

 

Taking place at Llanbedrog, Abersoch, Glass Butter Beach boasts some of the best beaches and most stunning landscapes seen anywhere in the UK with festival goers able to enjoy a backdrop of the beautiful Cardigan Bay toward the west coast of Wales. With the area boasting its own microclimate regularly creating that Mediterranean feeling, the naturally sheltered bays provide perfect conditions for wakeboarding while just around the corner are some of the best beaches for surfing in the country.

 

During the festival the beaches will come alive with a unique series of sporting activities hosted by pro athletes offering festival goers the chance to take part in surfing, wakeboarding, skateboarding, stand up paddleboarding, beach volleyball and much more.

 

Tickets are now on sale with packages ranging from general camping, located next to the beach, to exclusive ‘glamping’ options. Ticket purchasers and festival attendees must be 16+ to attend Glass Butter Beach festival although some of the wakeboard competitions are free to watch and available to all ages.
