The Love Supreme Festival returns to Glynde Place in East Sussex from July 3rd – 5th featuring a broad selection of superstar international acts from the worlds of jazz, soul, R&B, pop and beyond.
The full line-up is now confirmed and features over fifty world-class acts performing across four stages including the likes of Chaka Khan, Van Morrison, Omar, Candi Staton, Submotion Orchestra, The Bad Plus Joshua Redman, GoGo Penguin, Dianne Reeves, Hugh Masekela, Ginger Baker, Lisa Stansfield, Larry Graham, Rebecca Ferguson, Neneh Cherry and many more.
Alongside a packed schedule of gigs, the festival has also announced a partnership with Universal Music’s Jazz Labels (including the iconic Blue Note Records, Impulse! & Verve), who will host the Jazz Lounge featuring artist Q&As, exclusive album playbacks, film screenings – including the new Snarky Puppy film Sylva and Robert Glasper Trio’s Covered: Live at Capitol Studio – a ‘Put Yourself in your Favourite Album Sleeve’ photo booth, and free wi-fi also on offer.
Also incorporated this year are a number of areas and activities aimed specifically at children. As well as the return of the vintage funfair and early morning salsa class, this year will see the introduction of a dedicated children’s area, The Giant Steps Kids Green. Aimed at children of all ages, the green will feature dance-offs, bubble machine games, a hula hop workshop, a huge bouncy castle and swing dance lessons.
The festival has also teamed up again this year with The Verdict Jazz Club in Brighton, who have programmed the Bandstand and will showcase the best new artists from around the Sussex area.
Jazz FM’s Funky Sensation will once again be taking over the Arena on the Friday night and kicking the weekend off in style.
Love Supreme is the UK’s only major greenfield jazz festival and takes place over the weekend of the 3rd, 4th and 5th July 2015. Day tickets start at £60 and weekend tickets start at £115.
