It’s festival season again and as always, one of our favourite festivals is back. Threshold 2017

Our first dip into the waters with this years festival was Def Neon at Constellations. The duo fuse elements of rock, electro, synthpop and bass music to form a very unique and interesting take on electronic music. Although the band weren’t playing to a huge crowd at this time of day, they were not deterred, and played with the enthusiasm of a band playing Wembley stadium which won over the crowd. They finished their set on possibly the most unique version of Rage against the Machines’ “Killing in the name of” I have ever heard. A great start to the festival.

Threshold Reveal FULL LINE-UP following Crowdfunder success

With less than three weeks to go before they take over Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle and following a hugely successful Crowdfunder campaign, Threshold Festival have now revealed the full line-up of acts that will be performing at their seventh annual celebration.

Throwing a spotlight on the North West’s grassroots music and arts, the festival will return to Liverpool from March 31st to April 2nd.

Following a shortfall in funding this year, organisers turned to the festival’s fans to help raise the £9000 needed for this year’s event to be fully realised. To the delight of everyone involved, the campaign not only hit its target but by far exceeded it, raising over £11,400.

A Liverpool festival of grassroots music and arts has been given a huge boost in their crowdfunding campaign from a brand new patron and a pledge from Arts Council England.

Threshold Festival launched their campaign last week following a shortfall in funding ahead of their 7th annual event in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle. Organisers have been amazed by the response so far, which has included a £1000 pledge from Pacificstream, a Liverpool support service for creative industries, making them an official Threshold 2017 Patron.

Threshold Festival of Music & Arts was started by artists for artists and has its roots in the creative industries of Liverpool and the North West. Since 2011, they have held annual festivals bringing together a diverse wealth of artists, musicians, promoters, academics and enthusiasts to The Baltic Triangle district of Liverpool.

Threshold Festival 2017 Reveal Second Wave of Artists

With just two months to go before Threshold Festival takes over Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle, organisers have now announced the second wave of acts that will be performing at the seventh annual celebration.

Throwing a spotlight on the North West’s grassroots music and arts, the festival will return to the city from March 31st to April 2nd. Following the reveal of the likes of Hannah Peel, Nils Bech, XamVolo and Lilium, nineteen more acts have now been added to the line-up.

As revealed by Getintothis, thrash heavy Manchester trio False Advertising will take the Threshold stage, playing their first set since appearing at SXSW. Joining them in this wave are the likes of Liverpool’s own RongoRongo and Disastronauts.

Threshold Festival, Liverpool’s home-made celebration of music and arts, has revealed the theme for its 2017 event as ‘Darkness & Light’.

Visual artists from across Merseyside, as well as bands and solo musicians, are encouraged to apply for the 7th annual festival of grass roots talent via the official website at thresholdfestival.co.uk.

Threshold 2016 brought thousands of people to Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle, showcasing the region’s finest emerging artists, new work/ first views, collaboration, DIY, avant garde and community based projects encompassing music, theatre, film, performance and visual arts.

It’s just one month to go until the 6th annual Threshold Festival of Music & Arts and the full music and visual arts line-up have now been released, as Day Tickets go on sale on Skiddle & Party For The People outlets.

Organisers have declared this their most exciting event yet, with the 12 venues in the Baltic Triangle hosting a huge and diverse offering for all.

With less than six weeks to go before Threshold Festival takes over Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle once again, organisers have revealed twenty-four more acts who will be playing as part of the 6th annual festival of grassroots music and arts.
