Rochdale Feel Good festival Returns For 2017

The countdown to Rochdale Feel Good Festival 2017 has begun with the confirmation of the date for this year’s blockbuster summer event.

The festival – celebrating its 10th birthday – will return on Saturday 12 August, confirmed organisers Rochdale Borough Council, who are promising another incredible showcase of entertainment, food and culture.

Past Feel Good performers include The Fratellis, The South, Scouting for Girls, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Toploader, The Feeling, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Badly Drawn Boy and The Lightning Seeds.

The 2017 festival will include live music across indoor venues,a main stage against the backdrop of the town hall, a quality food market and family entertainment.

The festival is funded by the council together with sponsorship from local businesses.

Revealed: Two new bands join Rochdale’s ‘Feel Good’ line-up

Two exciting new bands have been confirmed for the main stage line-up for Rochdale Feel Good Festival this summer.
Manchester blues band The Twisted Dolls and Middleton based The Bright Black will take to the main stage by thetown hall on Saturday 20 August, during the council run event – the biggest free music and food festival in the north west.
The Twisted Dolls blend of catchy rock and roll blues mixed with power and showmanship has gained them a reputation as one of Manchester’s most exciting new live acts. Rochdale Feel Good Festival 2015 -Local acts will bring the feel good factor

More than 20 local acts have been lined-up to play Rochdale Feel Good Festival’s Stage 2.

The second outdoor music stage at the festival will feature local singers, dancers, bands and poets during the two-day festival.

Stage 2, situated alongside the festival food market and Celebrity Kitchen stage on Milton Street West Car Park in Rochdale town centre, will be hosted by community radio station Roch Valley Radio.
