The band who defined an entire generation, The Zutons, are reuniting for a very special one-off gig to commemorate the late Kristian Ealey on Friday 30 September at Liverpool Guild of Students. The original line-up is coming together to pay tribute to their close friend Ealey, who sadly died unexpectedly in May this year.

Just 38 years old, Kristian Ealey was the star of television soaps Brookside and Hollyoaks, where he played the popular character ‘Matt Musgrove’,and also appeared as Ringo Starr in the television biopic, ‘In His Life: the John Lennon Story’.

Fusion Festival Announce Eight New Acts and Kopparberg Urban Forest

Fusion Festival and 107.6 Capital FM Liverpool have announced a further eight acts are set to join the huge line-up of pop royalty performing at Fusion Festival, Otterspool Promenade on the 3rd & 4th September. 

Sigma, Blonde, Anne-Marie and Imani join the Saturday line up and DJ Fresh, Becky Hill, The Tide and Club Drive join Day Two on the Sunday.  They join Jason Derulo who headlines Day One, along with Tinie Tempah, Labrinth, Craig David, Sigala, Fleur East and Krept & Konan. Olly Murs will bring the two day event to a close alongside Busted, The Vamps, Nathan Sykes, Lawson, Ella Henderson and Jamie Lawson.

22 year old twin sisters Lizzy and Catherine, known together as Ward Thomas, announce a run of sixteen UK tour dates this autumn, including a show at London’s Bush Hall on Wednesday 19th October. The pair recently premiered their new single ‘Carry You Home’ on Ken Bruce’s Radio 2 show and announced details of their forthcoming album ‘Cartwheels’ released on Sony Music/WTW Music on September 9th.

‘Cartwheels’ features 14 self-penned songs that capture a range of emotions, from joy to heartbreak and everywhere in between.
