The undisputed masters of electronic music, The Chemical Brothers, have returned with their eight studio album, ‘Born In The Echoes’. The album is on track to be NUMBER 1 following the announcement that it is Number 1 in the midweek chart. This would make it the bands sixth number one album in a row.

The record features the Radio 1 A-List single ‘Go – featuring Q-Tip’ as well as a number of incredible songs which feature collaborations with Beck, St Vincent, Cate Le Bon and Ali Love. The Rimes release their stylish new single ‘The Feeling’ which will be available for download on the 24th July. The song was written between Jamie and Ryan, ‘While thrashing ideas around fuelled by caffeine and nicotine, highlighting the disconnect between the lost generation and the capricious nature of reality. Simply working to live and living to work.

The EP is fast approaching – ‘Avalanche’ is due 28th September. An accompanying video will be released for ‘Avalanche’ shot in Paris. The guys will be headlining a show in their home town for the E.P release on the 2ndOctober.  The music is being submitted to a small number of independent film festivals.

MICK HARVEY  (PJ Harvey collaborator / ex-Bad Seed) has announced a tour throughout the UK and Europe this summer. The tour dates are split between solo material and his Intoxicated Man set of interpretations of  the songs of Serge Gainsbourg.

The UK tour will feature solo material from albums such as One Man’s Treasure (2005), Two Of Diamonds (2007), Sketches From The Book Of The Dead (2011) and Four (Acts Of Love) (2013). Starting at London’s Lexington on 30 July, the tour includes performances in Glasgow and Newcastle.

The UK dates are preceded by a series of European shows, full list below, and follow 2014’s sold out Serge Gainsbourg show at Union Chapel.

The tour kicked off on the West Coast in June, alongside his run of the European festival circuit including most recently Wireless festival. Joey then headed to Fuji Rock in Japan and will then return to the US for a run of dates.

For the first run of dates on the World Domination Tour, Joey was joined by label mate Mick Jenkins from Chicago and Carol City, Florida’s Denzel Curry. This is Joey’s first time hitting the road since releasing his highly anticipated debut album to acclaim. B4.DA...
